# Team settings

## Team details

The [team settings page](https://dashboard.workos.com/settings/workspace) shows your team's details:

- **Team name**: the name of your team, shown throughout the dashboard and in invitation emails.
- **Admin Portal support email**: the reply-to address used when WorkOS sends [Admin Portal](https://workos.com/docs/admin-portal) invitations to your customers' IT admins. Configure this so replies reach your support team instead of going unanswered.
- **WorkOS Slack channel**: WorkOS offers a shared Slack channel for support. Request an invitation to your team's channel directly from this page.

Members with the Admin role can update these details with the *Edit details* button. Other members can view them but not change them.

## Delete your team

Admins can delete the team from the *Danger zone* section at the bottom of the workspace settings page.

> **Note:** Deleting your team is permanent and cannot be reversed. All environments and
> the data in them are destroyed.

Selecting *Delete team* starts a two-step confirmation:

1. **Feedback**: select a reason for leaving WorkOS, with an optional free-form field for additional feedback.
2. **Confirmation**: acknowledge that deletion is permanent, then type your team's name exactly to enable the *Delete team* button.

After you confirm, the deletion is queued and you are signed out. Deletion completes within an hour.

### What gets deleted

Deleting a team permanently removes:

- The team itself and the dashboard accounts of its members.
- All environments, including production.
- All customer data in those environments, such as users, organizations, and sessions.
- All Single Sign-On connections and directories.
- Any other data associated with the team.

### Teams with an active subscription

If your team has an active subscription, the dashboard cannot delete it directly. [Contact support](mailto:support@workos.com) to cancel the subscription and delete the team.
