WorkOS 2022 Spring Release Recap

Audit Logs API, new webhooks experience, new SAML providers, and more! Learn about all of the latest features and product updates we've added to the WorkOS platform from April to June 2022.

We’ve shipped a lot of exciting new updates to the WorkOS platform during the second quarter of 2022! We shared these updates during our Spring Release event which you can watch on YouTube. Here’s a summary of everything we’ve released so far:

New SAML integrations

We’ve recently added support for multiple SAML providers through the WorkOS SSO integration and Admin Portal:

New webhooks experience

We completely revamped our webhooks experience to make it easier to debug webhooks. We also created a webhooks best practices guide, which will help you implement webhooks in a secure and reliable way to ensure consistency for your data.

Multi-Factor Authentication API improvements

We launched our Multi-Factor Authentication API in preview last quarter. Since then we shipped a bunch of improvements that will make it easier for you to ship this feature.

To learn more about the API and the type of experiences you can build with it, you can check out the documentation or you can watch the following video:

Single Sign-On and Directory Sync in the WorkOS dashboard

For better security, you can now log into the WorkOS dashboard using your Identity Provider of choice. This new feature is powered by the WorkOS SSO API.

Furthermore, you can also connect your own directory of choice to automatically provision and deprovision your users. Your directory will be the single source of truth when it comes to who can access the dashboard and what their role is. This new feature is powered by the WorkOS Directory Sync API.

Audit Logs API  (Preview)

We’re thrilled to announce that we’re working on a new Audit Logs API!

This API will enable you to document and share the different events taken by users in a given organization. IT admins often require this feature since it provides them with an immutable record of how different resources in your app are created, modified, and accessed.

Check out the following video to see what the Audit Logs experience will look like:
