Certificate Renewal Flow

WorkOS now supports a much more in-depth flow to renew SAML certificates. You will now see notifications for expiring, and expired certificates on the Dashboard homepage. You can also filter to find organizations with expiring certificates directly from the Organizations page.

Connections that have expiring or expired certificates will also allow you to create a new Admin Portal intent for certificate renewal that can be shared directly with admins. These can be emailed to your IT admins directly through WorkOS, or links can be manually shared.

Through the Admin Portal, your customers will be able to follow a step by step flow to seamlessly transition to new certificates without having to manually exchange certificates with you. The Admin Portal links can be generated from the Dashboard on the connection page for expiring/expired connections or through the API.
