AuthKit now supports waitlists, so you can collect signup requests and review them before allowing registration. When enabled, the signup form stops creating users and collects their information instead. You review the entries in the dashboard and approve or deny each one. Approved users get an email to complete their signup. Use a waitlist for gated launches, closed betas, or anything where you want to vet people first.
The waitlist only gates new signups. Existing users still sign in, invited users skip the line, and anyone matching a verified domain with JIT provisioning is added automatically. Webhooks fire when an entry is created, approved, or denied, so you can auto-approve known domains or ping Slack when someone joins. Waitlists are in early access and must be enabled for your team.
