AuthKit sign-ups and invitations for email addresses that can't receive mail (like oops@gmail.con) will now be rejected at the point of entry.
Previously, a user who mistyped their email would wait around for a verification message that never arrived, and each undeliverable send hard-bounced against your email reputation. WorkOS now checks that an address's domain can actually receive mail before accepting the sign-up, so typos surface immediately, sign-up quality goes up, and bounce rates go down.
Testing with dummy addresses still works: emails to example.com, example.net, example.org (and their subdomains), or to any domain ending in .test, are accepted and excluded from email sends.
